Latest round of offers heavy on 2023 OL prospects

Florida State head coach Mike Norvell and his staff for the second day in a row extended scholarship offers to class of 2023 prospects. The Seminoles offered at least six prospects on Wednesday, with four of those offers going to offensive line prospects. Three of the offensive linemen offered are part of the 2023 class of recruits while another went to an 8th-grader from Texas.

All the prospects below announced they had received offers from FSU via Twitter.

2023 Offers

OT Luke Brown (6-6, 300) – Paris (Tenn.) Henry County HS

Brown is also reported to have offers from UCF, Georgia, Indiana, Memphis, Middle Tennessee and Vandy. He has yet to be rated or ranked by 247Sports.

OT Monroe Freeling (6-7, 275)-Charleston (SC) Oceanside Collegiate Academy

Freeling is reported to have over a dozen offers with Arkansas, Coastal Carolina, Duke, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky and North Carolina included on that list. The rising junior is considered a four-star prospect by 247Sports, who also rank him as the best overall prospect from his home state for 2023 and the 5th-best offensive tackle in the country for his class.

OT/DT Bubba Jeffries (6-5, 305)-Alcoa (Tn.) HS

Jeffries is reported to also have offers from Georgia Tech and Mississippi State. He is currently unrated and unranked by 247Sports.

WR Ahmari Borden (6-3, 175) – Bainbridge (Ga.)

Borden is also reported to have an offer from FAU. Former FSU tight end Tommy Wheeler is one of Borden’s coaches at Bainbridge High. Borden is unrated and unranked by 247Sports. As a sophomore last season he caught 16 passes for 304 yards.

ATH Joenel Aguero (6-0, 195) – Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy

Aguero is reported to have over a dozen offers at this point in his recruitment. Included on that list are Arizona, Arkansas, Boston College, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Ole Miss and Southern Cal. He played at St. John’s Prep in Danvers, Mass., as freshman and sophomore. The rising junior is rated as a four-star recruit by 247Sports, who have Aguero ranked as the 12th-best overall prospect in the Florida for 2023.
