Recruiting: FSU in top 5 for 3-star in-state RB/LB

FSU coach Mike Norvell and his staff learned Tuesday that they are among the top schools involved in the recruitment of running back/linebacker Raheim “Rocket” Sanders.

The 6-foot-2 and 210-pound rising senior from Rockledge (Fla.) High School announced Tuesday that Florida State, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and South Carolina are currently the top-five schools he is considering for his college home.

“When I went on a visit it felt like home and I feel like I could go there and show may talent,” Sanders told the Osceola when asked about FSU.

Sanders is being recruited as an athlete and is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports. They also have him ranked as the 41st-best ATH in the country and the 78th-best overall prospect from Florida. This past season Sanders lined up at running back, wide receiver and linebacker. He also plays basketball and runs track.
