Rebuild of secondary continues as FSU adds UCF’s Moore

UCF defensive back Brandon Moore has not played a college football game since the 2019 opener but looks to jump-start his career at Florida State.

Moore, who missed most of the last two seasons following knee surgery, announced his transfer on Twitter late Monday night. It had been previously reported by media who cover UCF that Moore returned to practice in October 2020 and worked with UCF’s scout team.

He had 77 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and two interceptions in 19 games.

In 2018, Moore had 41 tackles and a 93-yard interception return for a touchdown in the bowl game vs. LSU.

Moore will join UCF teammate McKenzie Milton at FSU. He is the latest addition to the defensive back room via the transfer portal, including Jarques McClellion (Arkansas) and Jammie Robinson (South Carolina).
