After taking Thursday off, the Florida State football team
was back on the field Friday afternoon in shells for the seventh practice of
the preseason. The heat was sweltering, registering 96 degrees on the
thermometer with the heat index making the temperature feel like it was 106 degrees.
The Osceola team was there to cover practice today. The
following are our notes and observations from this afternoon.
Practice No. 7 started with the Oklahoma drill (one blocker,
one defender and one ball carrier) today and it looked like the offense might
have gotten the better . . .
