FSU coach Mike Norvell and his staff are trying to build for the future of the Seminoles' football program under some very difficult circumstances. The NCAA implemented a dead period in recruiting in mid-March, which has been extended several times and is currently scheduled to last until Dec. 31. Florida State's coaches are still allowed to have communication via phone, email, text and social media but are not allowed in-person contact with recruits on-campus or off-campus (a recruit's school or home).
