Notes: FSU offers three 2021 prospects, three more 22’s

It was another busy 24 hours for FSU coach Mike Norvell and his staff on the virtual recruiting trial. The Seminoles extended scholarship offers to at least five prospects from the 2021 and 2022 recruiting classes. That list includes two 2021 prospects from the Peach State.

Let’s take a look at each prospect below:

2021 Prospects

Bryson Estes from McDonough (Ga.) Eagles Landing HS announced via Twitter that he has an FSU offer. Estes, who is 6-3 and 265 pounds, is being recruited as a center/guard by the Seminoles. His list of offers is also reported to include Boston College, Penn State, Georgia Tech, NC State, UCF, Michigan State and Nebraska among others. 247Sports rates Estes as a three-star prospects and they rank him as the seventh-best center in the country in 2021 and the 39th-best overall prospect from Georgia.

Jackson Hamilton from Blessed Trinity Catholic in Roswell, Ga., announced via Twitter on Thursday that he has an FSU offer. The 6-1 and 205-pound OLB prospect is also reported to have offers from Arkansas, East Carolina, Houston, Louisville, Minnesota and Missouri among others. Hamilton is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports. They also have him ranked as the 57th-best OLB prospect in the country and the 71st-best overall prospect from Georgia.

Prince Kollie from Jonesborough (Tenn.) Crockett HS announced on Twitter that he has an FSU offer. The 6-1 and 200-pound OLB prospect is also reported to have offers from a list of schools that includes Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Oklahoma and Tennessee. Kollie is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports. They also have him ranked as the 25th-best OLB prospect in the country and the 10th-best overall prospect from Tennessee.

2022 Prospects

Janiran Bonner from Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove HS announced on Twitter that he has an FSU offer. The 6-1 and 193-pound WR prospect is also reported to have offers from Auburn, Baylor, Georgia, Michigan, Michigan State, Oklahoma and Tennessee among others. Bonner is rated as a four-star prospect by 247Sports, which also ranks him as the 33rd-best WR in the class of 2022, the 16th-best overall prospect from Georgia and the 245th-best overall prospect in the country.

Kevin Coleman announced on Twitter that he has received an offer from FSU. The 5-11 and 170-pound rising senior from St. Louis (Mo.) St. Mary’s HS is reported to already hold over two dozen offers. That list of schools includes Miami, Michigan, Penn State, Minnesota, Alabama and Georgia. He is rated a four-star prospect by 247Sports, which also has him ranked as the top overall prospect from Missouri for the class of 2022, the second-best WR prospect in the country and the 18th-best overall prospect in the country.

Luther Burden, another wide receiver prospect from St. Louis, also announced that he has received an offer from FSU. Burden, who is 6-4 and 194 pounds, attends Cardinal Ritter Prep School and reportedly has over three dozen offers. The list of schools who have offered include Florida, Alabama, Minnesota, Southern Cal, Ohio State, Georgia, Texas and Oklahoma. He is ranked right behind Coleman as the second-best prospect from Missouri for the class of 2022 by 247Sports. They also have him ranked as the 3rd-best wide receiver in the country and the 23rd-best overall prospect in the country.
