FSU coach Mike Norvell ended last week by extending offers to a pair of 2021 prospects and the Seminoles began this week the same way by handing out offers to a couple of out-of-state defenders.
Outside linebacker prospect Thomas Davis from Lowndes County (Ga.) High School in Valdosta announced on Twitter that he has received an FSU offer. Davis, who is 6-foot-2 and 223 pounds, is reported to have over a dozen offers to-date. Among the group of schools to offer the rising senior are Indiana, Miami, Mississippi State and South Carolina. 247Sports has Davis rated as a three-star prospect and they also have him ranked as the 50th-best WDE prospect in the nation and the 77th-best overall prospect in Georgia for 2021. As a junior last season, Davis recorded 47 tackles (including 11.5 sacks).

Another edge defender also reported an offer from FSU on Twitter on Monday. New Orleans (La.) St. Augustine High School Byron Turner Jr. announced he has an offer from the Seminoles. Turner, who is 6-3 and 237 pounds, is reported to have more than two dozen offers. The schools included on that list are Arkansas, Baylor, Florida, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and Texas, among others. 247Sports has Turner rated as a three-star prospect and ranks him as the 26th-best SDE prospect in the country and the 12-the overall prospect in Louisiana.

The Seminoles extended another offer to a rising sophomore. Terrance Love, 6-2 and 195 pounds, from Fairburn (Ga.) Hughes High School announced that he has picked up an FSU offer. The rising sophomore is also reported to have offers from Duke, Florida, Georgia and Georgia Tech, among others.
