FSU coach Mike Norvell and his staff continue to extend offers to prospects for the recruiting classes of 2021, ’22 and ’23. The latest group of offers that were made over the last week include a pair of prospects for FSU’s current recruiting class and several underclassmen offensive and defensive linemen.
The latest offer extended by the FSU staff went to defensive end prospect Kyran Montgomery from Pike High School in Indianapolis. Montgomery, who is 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, is reported to hold almost two dozens offers. That list includes Arizona State, Minnesota, Penn State and West Virginia. 247Sports has Montgomery ranked as a three-star prospect and also has him ranked as the 30th-best WDE prospect in the country and the sixth-best overall prospect in Indiana for the class of 2021.

Offensive tackle prospect Ru’Quan Barkley announced Friday that he had received an offer from FSU. Barkley, 6-6 and 260 pounds, is from Godwin Heights High School in Grand Rapids, Mich. His list of offers is reported to include Colorado, Iowa State, Kentucky and Nebraska among others. 247Sports has Barkley rated as a three-star prospect and ranked as the 14th-best overall prospect from Michigan. He also plays defensive end for Godwin Heights.

Defensive end prospect Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy announced late last week that he has received an offer from FSU. The Lakeland (Fla.) High School product is 6-3 and 225 pounds. He is also reported to have offers from Florida, Miami, Nebraska, NC State, Oklahoma and USF. 247Sports has the rising junior rated as a three-star prospect and also has him ranked as the 19th-best SDE in the country and the 40th-best overall prospect in Florida for 2022.
Cornerback prospect Tayon Holloway, 5-11 and 170 pounds, announced that he has an offer from FSU. The Virginia Beach (Va.) Green Run High School product is also reported to have offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Virginia and Virginia Tech among others. 247Sports has Holloway rated as a four-star prospect and has him ranked as the 22nd-best CB prospect in the country and the 9th-best overall prospect in Virginia.
Payton Kirkland, 6-7 and 310 pounds, announced an offer from FSU. The rising sophomore from Orlando (Fla.) Dr. Phillips High School is reportedly holding over a dozen offers. The schools included in that group are Florida, Georgia, Penn State, Tennessee and South Carolina.
Sydir Mitchell, 6-5 and 280 pounds, announced that he has an offer from FSU. The rising sophomore from Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic High School is reported to have at least half a dozen offers to-date. The schools on that list are Arizona State, Ole Miss, Rutgers, Tennessee and Virginia Tech.
