Quarterback prospect Luke Altmyer continues to see is profile rise as he heads into his senior season. Altmyer has been committed to FSU since February and is currently the only quarterback committed to the Seminoles for the 2021 recruiting class.
On Sunday, it was reported by several media outlets and confirmed by Altmyer on Twitter that he has been invited to play in the 2021 Under Armour All-American Game. The 6-foot-1 and 195-pound signal-caller also recently picked up an offer from Alabama. The Starkville (Miss.) High School product has also seen his star-ranking rise from a three-star prospect to a four-star prospect by 247Sports.
According to ESPN, he will be joined in that game by two other prospects that are currently committed to FSU in the 2021 class. Linebacker prospect Branden Jennings from Jacksonville (Fla.) Sandalwood High School and cornerback prospect Kevin Knowles from Hollywood (Fla.) McArthur High School are listed on the roster of participants for the game that is usually played in early January.
Linebacker prospect Jaishawn Barham announced on Twitter that he has received an offer from FSU. The rising junior is from Hyattsville (Md.) St. Frances Academy. Barham is 6-3 and 230 pounds and is also reported to have offers from Florida, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Penn State, among others. He is rated as a four-star prospect by 247Sports, which also has him ranked as the third-best OLB prospect in his class.
Defensive end prospect Derrick Moore who also attends St. Frances Academy announced on Twitter this weekend that he has an FSU offer. The 6-4 and 245-pound rising junior is also reported to have offers from Florida, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State and Oklahoma among others. 247Sports also rates Moore as a four-star prospect and has him ranked the fifth-best SDE prospect in the country.
Anthony James from Wylie (Tx.) East High School announced on Twitter late last week that he has an FSU offer. The rising sophomore is 6-6 and 220 pounds and is also reported to have offers from Georgia and Texas A&M.
