Former Florida State defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi and offensive tackle Cameron Erving will play for the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl LIV on Feb. 2.
Nnadi had a tackle in the Chiefs’ victory over Tennessee in the AFC title game. He had 48 tackles in the regular season. Erving did not play in Sunday’s game.
At FSU from 2014-17, Nnadi had 165 tackles and 11.5 sacks. Erving, who played at FSU from 2010-14, arrived as a defensive tackle but developed into an All-American offensive tackle and helped the Seminoles win a national title.
There are no FSU players on the NFC champion San Francisco 49ers. But the 49ers’ front office features VP of Player Personnel Martin Mayhew, who was a defensive back at FSU from 1983-87 and had 187 tackles and five interceptions.
The Chiefs and 49ers will face off in the Super Bowl on Feb. 2 at 6:30 p.m (FOX).
