Noles to kick off vs. LSU, UF at 7:30 p.m.

The dates were known and the kick times were anticipated to be at night, and Florida State will indeed face LSU at 7:30 p.m. (ABC) and Florida at 7:30 p.m. (ABC) in the 2022 season.

No time has been set for FSU’s week 0 game opener with Duquesne, but the Seminoles will face LSU in New Orleans on Sunday, Sept. 4. It is the eighth time in the last 10 years that FSU has played a primetime game on Labor Day weekend. It will be the first FSU-LSU game since 1991.

FSU will close the regular season on Friday, Nov. 25 at 7:30 p.m. (ABC). While an unusual day for the FSU-UF series, it does offer a national, primetime slot for both programs and could be advantageous for FSU’s Mike Norvell and UF’s Billy Napier as they recruit and build their 2023 classes.
