Robby Martin hit a three run homer run, Jackson Greene hit a two-run home run and Matheu Nelson hit his national-leading 16th home run as Florida State defeated Georgia Tech 9-0 on Friday night.
The Seminoles (19-14, 14-11 ACC) pounded out 11 hits.
Parker Messick (4-2) pitched out of a few jams, including a bases-loaded situation in the third where he recorded a strikeout. The freshman left-hander gave up three hits, three walks and hit two batters but continually pitched well with runners on base.
Jonah Scolaro, Jack Anderson and Ross Dunn each tossed scoreless innings.
Nelson went 2 for 4, adding a double for FSU. He now has 49 RBI. Martin’s three-run shot gave him 37 RBI.
Davis Hare was the designated hitter, going 3 for 5 with a double and a run scored.
Georgia Tech dropped to 18-15, 14-11.
