Noles begin NFL playoffs

The NFL playoffs begin on Saturday. A number of Florida State players will be competing in the Super Wild Card weekend, which features games across three days.

Saturday’s games

Raiders at Bengals, 4:30 p.m. (NBC and Peacock): WR Auden Tate has three catches for 39 yards and a touchdown for the Bengals. He is designated to return from a calf injury.

Patriots at Bills, 8:15 p.m. (CBS and Paramount+): OL Bobby Hart is a reserve on the Bills.

Sunday’s games

Eagles at Buccaneers, 1 p.m. (FOX, FOX Deportes): DE Josh Sweat has enjoyed a breakout season, recording 42 tackles and 7.5 sacks for the Eagles in the regular season. Marvin Wilson made his regular-season debut in the finale against the Cowboys, recording three tackles. OL Landon Dickerson, who played at FSU and Alabama, is also on the Eagles’ roster.

49ers at Cowboys, 4:30 p.m. (CBS, Paramount+, Nickelodeon, Amazon Prime): There are no FSU players on the teams.

Steelers at Chiefs, 8:15 p.m. (NBC, Peacock, Telemundo): DT Derrick Nnadi had 38 tackles and three sacks for the Chiefs. DE Joshua Kaindoh (ankle) was activated on Tuesday and could play on Sunday. DT Demarcus Christmas is on the injured reserve for the Steelers.

Monday’s game

Cardinals at Rams, 8:15 p.m. (ESPN, ABC, ESPN2, ESPN+, ESPN Deportes): CB Jalen Ramsey had 77 tackles and four interceptions in the regular season. He was selected to the Pro Bowl. RB Cam Akers (Achilles) returned from injury in the Rams’ regular-season finale and had five rushes for three yards (this story details his comeback from what was viewed as a season-ending injury). C Rodney Hudson missed a few games due to injury and a couple while in the COVID protocol. But Hudson is considered one of the top centers in the NFL and a leader on the Cardinals.

Note: The Titans (AFC) and Packers (NFC) earned byes. There will be two divisional round games next Saturday and two games next Sunday.
