No simple math in evaluating FSU’s postseason resume

Florida State goes into the ACC Tournament as the second-best team in the league but the Seminoles’ struggles away from Tallahassee have been magnified in recent weeks.

Coaches, media and fans have argued for years about how much a conference postseason tournament can impact a team’s seeding for Selection Sunday. But it’s clear the Seminoles (15-5) can not afford a quick exit in Greensboro, N.C., needing to build confidence in how the team plays away from home but also create momentum.
