Camren McDonald, who has started 20 career games, announced on Friday evening he will return to Florida State for the 2022 season.
McDonald caught 24 passes for 243 yards and two touchdowns for FSU in 2021. He was tied for second on the team in receptions, just one behind tailback Jashaun Corbin.
In his career, McDonald has 53 receptions for 549 yards and four touchdowns.
He has also earned a spot on the 2021 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, one of 22 players recognized for their philanthropic work off the field.
Among the FSU tight ends to return in 2022 are Wyatt Rector, Preston Daniel, Jackson West, Markeston Douglas and Koby Gross. The Seminoles have also signed tight ends Jerrale Powers and Brian Courtney.
