Florida State's defensive staff has been re-shaped in the last few weeks as analysts Jim Leavitt and Mario Edwards Sr. have been promoted to on-field, full-time assistant coaches.
Defensive coordinator Harlon Barnett said Tuesday that Leavitt is focusing his time on the Seminoles' front seven while Edwards is working with the defensive backs.
