Redshirt freshman linebacker Kevon Glenn has entered the the NCAA transfer portal. The news was first reported by 247Sports earlier Wednesday.
Glenn later made an announcement on Twitter. He states he will have four years of eligibility at his new school.
Glenn, who is 6-foot-2 and 229 pounds, was used sparingly by FSU head coach Mike Norvell and defensive coordinator Adam Fuller in 2020. The Hampton (Ga.) Dutchtown High School product played in just three games this past season where he totaled just two tackles.
The Seminoles will be left with with just eight returning scholarship linebackers from last year’s squad. FSU did sign outside linebacker Jordan Eubanks in December. Eubanks will enroll this summer.
Glenn was the primary backup to true freshman linebacker Stephen Dix Jr. during the second half the 2020 campaign after Leonard Warner made the move to defensive end. Warner started the year in the middle of the FSU defense.
