Julian Armella promised an announcement late Wednesday night — and a wild early signing day finished with a major positive.
The 6-foot-6, 295-pound offensive tackle signed with Florida State, with the school making it official at 10:06 p.m.
“Julian is probably the most talented lineman FSU has signed in the last decade,” Osceola recruiting analyst Charles Fishbein said. Very good athlete. He can move laterally really well. Very good feet for a big kid. He has a bit of a mean streak. Like the way he fires off the baall. Plays with good balance and leverage.”
Armella adds to an impressive offensive line haul, which includes Kanaya Charlton, Daughtry Richardson, Qae’shon Sapp and Jaylen Early.
FSU’s signing class jumped to No. 13 in the 247Sports team standings, ahead of Clemson and second only to North Carolina.
