Time/TV: FSU at Louisville, 2 p.m. on ESPN2.
FSU potential starters: G Devin Vassell (11.8 ppg., 4.6 rpg.), G Trent Forrest (11.5 ppg., 3.9 assists), G M.J. Walker (10.1 ppg., 2.5 rpg.), F Malik Osborne (6.1 ppg., 4.9 rpg.), F RaiQuan Gray (6.3 ppg., 3.7 rpg.).
FSU reserves: F Patrick Williams (9.4 ppg., 3.4 rpg.), G Anthony Polite (6.6 ppg.), C Balsa Koprivica (6.0 ppg., 2.6 rpg.), C Dominik Olejniczak (4.3 ppg., 2.3 rpg.),
Louisville potential starters: F Jordan Nwora (20.2 ppg., 7.2 rpg.), F Dwayne Sutton (9.4 ppg., 8.8 rpg.), C Steven Enoch (11.6 ppg., 7.1 rpg.), G Ryan McMahon (9.4 ppg., 2.4 assists), G Darius Perry (5.8 ppg., 4.6 assists).
FSU will win if: The Seminoles’ guards play with aggression. If Walker (hip bruise) misses the game, the Seminoles will need Polite to again play significant minutes. FSU must continue to be assertive on the defensive end of the floor. And FSU must avoid any long sluggish stretches at a difficult arena.
Louisville will win if: The Cardinals’ bigs – Nwora and Enoch – are productive and get FSU in foul trouble. The Seminoles should have Koprivica back after he missed most of Tuesday’s game due to a bone bruise. But if FSU is down to Olejniczak, the Seminoles may be forced to play Osborne and Gray more and see if they can hold up on the defensive end.
