Morgan Jones scored 12 of her 17 points in the second half and River Baldwin had 11 points and eight rebounds as the Florida State women’s basketball team held off Boston College 66-58 on Thursday night.

Clinging to a one-point lead at halftime, FSU produced a 40-point second half.

Freshman Mariana Valenzuela produced another fine game, chipping in with seven points and three rebounds

The Seminoles shot 24 of 50 (48 percent) from the floor, 3 of 10 (30 percent) from 3-point range but just 15 of 27 (55.6 percent) from the free-throw line.
