Florida State athletics officials updated their procedures for fans who attend games, including “the wearing of masks is expected everywhere on FSU’s campus, including our sports venues.”
There will also be hand sanitizing stations at concourses throughout Doak Campbell Stadium. Fans will be able to bring an empty clear bottle into the stadium to fill with water, similar to the 2020 season, but there will be no cooling stations set up under the stadium in September.
There will be Friday night block parties, beginning with one on Sept. 4 (yes, a Saturday) to kick off the season a day before Notre Dame. The full list of performers can be viewed here.
Fans will be able to purchase beer and wine inside the stadium and bring it to their seats this year.
Among the game day activities that are fan favorites: The Marching Chiefs will perform at Dick Howser Stadium two hours before kickoff. Sod Talk will be held virtually and displayed on the Jumbotron inside Doak Campbell Stadium as well as by video in the week leading up to the game. Seminole Boosters got an early look at the first Sod Talk with Peter Boulware.
There is also a Legacy Walk from the Heritage Fountain to Gate K, about 2.5 hours prior to kickoff.
