Florida State earned the No. 2 seed for the ACC softball championship and will open play on Thursday. The Seminoles will play the North Carolina-NC State winner on Thursday at 5 p.m. (ACC Network).
Clemson is the top seed in the tournament, which begins on Wednesday and will be held at Louisville, Ky.
FSU finished the regular season with a 38-9-1 record, including 26-5-1 in ACC play. The Seminoles’ final regular-season stats can be viewed here.
Georgia Tech and Syracuse will kick off the ACC Softball Championship on Wednesday with a 1 p.m. start, followed by No. 10 North Carolina vs. No. 7 NC State at 3:30 p.m.
Semifinal games will be played on Friday afternoon. Saturday’s championship game is at noon.
