FSU slips to 18th in major baseball polls

After a 2-2 week, the Florida State baseball team slid in a few polls that were released on Monday morning.

The Seminoles fell to No. 18 (from 15th) in the Baseball America poll. Five ACC schools are ranked ahead of the Seminoles, led by No. 5 Louisville. Arkansas retains the top spot in an all-SEC top 3, which also featured Vanderbilt and Mississippi.

FSU slipped one spot to No. 18 in the D1baseball.com poll. No. 6 Georgia Tech and No. 7 Louisville are each in the top 10. Vanderbilt holds the top spot, followed by Arkansas and Mississippi.

Next up for FSU is a three-game series at home against North Carolina beginning Friday at 6 p.m. (the game will stream live on ACC Network Extra).
