FSU landed the ninth commitment towards its 2022 recruiting class Sunday evening when Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Stranahan High linebacker Omar Graham Jr. gave his pledge to coach Mike Norvell to sign the Seminoles this upcoming December or next February.
Graham, who is 6-foot-1 and 205 pounds, made his official visit to FSU on the weekend of June 11. The three-star prospect, who is also ranked as the 64th-best linebacker prospect in the country for the class of 2022 by 247Sports, also took an official visit to Miami earlier this month.
Penn State and Auburn were also heavily involved in Graham’s recruitment but he canceled his official visits to both schools shortly after his trip to Tallahassee.
Osceola Recruiting Analyst Charles Fishbein, who is President of Elite Scouting Services, has Graham ranked as the third-best outside linebacker prospect in Florida for this recruiting cycle.
“Graham’s film reminds us of Khalil Mack,” said Fishbein. “He is a pass rush specialist for an outside linebacker. He plays the game with violence. Graham is a very good pass rusher but he is athletic enough to drop back and make plays as a coverage player. You will also see him shoot the gaps and stop the run.”

FSU’s 2022 recruiting class ranked 13th in the country and second-best in the ACC based off 247Sports’ rankings prior to Graham’s commitment.
