Andrew Boselli gave up football. And then decided he missed the game.
So Boselli returned to Florida State this spring, welcomed by the coaching staff as a walk-on offensive lineman. He worked as hard as he had before, back when he was a scholarship player for the Seminoles.
And now he’s on scholarship again. Check out this video from Tuesday’s practice, where coach Willie Taggart and offensive line coach Randy Clements announce that Boselli has earned a scholarship.
His dad, former Jacksonville Jaguars star Tony Boselli, is a proud papa. He added on Twitter, “Pretty damn cool! I love that boy!”
Boselli has often lined up as the second-team center in the open portions of FSU’s practices. He has often earned praise from Clements during preseason camp.
