Things have slowed down for college football teams across the country with the cancellation of spring practice and workouts but the business of recruiting continues forward. FSU has reportedly offered a pair of players from Louisiana this weekend who would be a part of the class of 2022.
Kendrick Law, 5-11 and 185 pounds, from Captain Shreve High School in Shreveport, La. announced on Twitter that he has received and offer from the Seminoles. The rising junior is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports as an athlete. He is also reported to have an offer from Virginia.
This past season, as a sophomore, Law ran the ball 36 times for 255 yards and three touchdowns and also caught 39 passes for 505 yards and six scores. He also compiled 333 kickoff return yards and 85 punt returns yards.
“It’s motivational, makes me want to keep working and work harder at what I do and never give up,” Law told the Osceola. Law also said he was impressed with the FSU campus.
Shazz Preston also announced via Twitter that he has received an offer from FSU this weekend. He is also a member of the 2022 recruiting class. Preston, 5-11 and 178 pounds, attends St. James (La.) High School and is rated as a four-star prospect by 247Sports. He is ranked as the top overall prospect in Louisiana for 2022, the seventh best wide receiver and the 38th best overall prospect in the country.
Other reported offers for Preston include LSU, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Texas A&M and Miami. The rising junior caught 63 passes for 1,018 yards and nine touchdowns last season.
