Florida State added another commitment, the fourth, to its 2022 recruiting class Thursday afternoon. Aaron Hester from Neptune Beach (Fla.) Fletcher announced that he will sign with the Seminoles at the conclusion of his high school career.
Fletcher, who is 6-foot-3 and 221 pounds, is a defensive end prospect and is the son of former Seminole Ron Hester, who played linebacker and lettered for the Seminoles in 1980 and ’81.
The younger Hester is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports, which also ranks the rising senior as the 25th-best weakside defensive end in the class of 2022 and the 52nd-best overall prospect in Florida. He also holds offers from Miami, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Cincinnati, ECU, Penn State and Virginia Tech among others.
