FSU lands versatile transfer OL Emmanuel

Florida State football has landed a third transfer offensive lineman ahead of the 2022 season. And D’Mitri Emmanuel is a familiar face to FSU offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Alex Atkins.

Emmanuel made his commitment to FSU on Monday evening with a post on Twitter: “Let’s go to work!” The graduate transfer from Charlotte entered the portal on May 3.

A 6-foot-2, 306-pound guard/tackle, Emmanuel worked with Atkins at Charlotte in 2019. Atkins left Charlotte to come to FSU after the 2019 season.

Emmanuel, who also reported offers from Miami and Boston College, made 24 starts over the last three seasons at Charlotte (he started at left guard, left tackle, right tackle in his career). He will join Kayden Lyles (Wisconsin) and Bless Harris (Lamar) as new arrivals to FSU for the 2022 season.
