Cedric Baxter won’t be playing college football for three more seasons. But the Orlando Edgewater prospect knew where he wanted to play football.
Baxter picked Florida State, committing on Wednesday afternoon.
“I know it’s super early in my recruitment but this has been a dream since I was little so me and my family have decided that this is a good decision,” Baxter wrote on Twitter.
Yes, it’s early. Baxter has just finished up his freshman season of high school football. He’s not even rated yet by the recruiting services. But Baxter is 6-foot and 195 pounds with plenty of time to grow and improve.
Baxter ran for 307 yards last season. It remains to be seen where he could play on the field later in his high school or college career as Baxter is currently viewed as an athlete.
