A little less than two weeks removed from Florida State receiving a verbal commitment from four-star QB prospect AJ Duffy, the Seminoles learned they are among the final five schools that one of his highly regarded Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy teammates will consider.
Five-star 2022 CB prospect Daylen Everette announced on Thursday evening that he has narrowed his list of potential college homes to FSU, Clemson, Georgia, Oregon and North Carolina.
Everette, who is 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 7 corner in the nation and the No. 7 overall prospect from Florida. The rising senior transferred to IMG for the 2020 season after attending Norfolk (Va.) Norview High School as a sophomore. Everette appeared in five games last season where he recorded eight tackles.
While he hasn’t made it public when he will take his official visit to FSU, Everette is reported to be taking official visits to Georgia (June 18) and North Carolina (June 25).
