FSU hoops won’t play UCF

The Florida State men’s basketball team won’t play its scheduled game against UCF on Saturday due to COVID protocols.

FSU had traveled to South Florida to play UCF at Sunrise. But positive tests within the program forced the cancellation. The result of the game is a no-contest.

The Seminoles (6-4) are scheduled to play North Florida on Tuesday before taking a break for the holidays ahead of a road game with Boston College on Dec. 29. It’s possible the FSU-UNF game will need to be rescheduled.
