The Florida State men’s basketball team will open on Nov. 10 against Penn at the Donald L. Tucker Center in the first of 11 non-conference games.
FSU will then play at Florida on Nov. 14. It will be the first of a number of road/neutral site games around the state, including games against Loyola Marymount and SMU or Missouri in Jacksonville as well as UCF in Sunrise.
Game times have not been set. The ACC schedule will be established in the coming months.
Among the returning players for FSU are guards Anthony Polite (10.1 ppg, 43.6 3-point shooting percentage), RayQuan Evans (5.1 ppg) and Malik Osborne (5.9 ppg, 4.5 rpg). The Seminoles also welcome guards Caleb Mills (University of Houston) and Cam’Ron Fletcher (University of Kentucky) to their rotation. Florida State will also begin the 2021-22 season with one of the nation’s top recruiting classes, Matthew Cleveland and Jalen Warley.
