Mike Norvell moved quickly to hire a defensive backs coach.
Florida State has hired Auburn assistant coach Marcus Woodson, according to a report by Noles247.
Woodson was on Norvell’s coaching staff at Memphis in 2016-17 before spending the last two years at Auburn. He has previously coached at Fresno State, Charleston Southern and Millsaps.
A graduate of Ole Miss, Woodson was a starting safety before a knee injury cut short his football career.
