FSU-Florida women’s game postponed

The Florida State women’s basketball team’s scheduled home matchup vs. Florida on Sunday at the Tucker Center has been postponed.

The decision was made on Friday following consultation with medical personnel and discussions between the two administrations.

Both teams will explore re-scheduling options and are hopeful to find a common date for this season.

FSU is seeking a replacement opponent for a mid-week game next week, and one will be announced should an opponent become available.

All tickets purchased for the game vs. Florida will be honored should the game be rescheduled. Ticket holders will be emailed with the updated game date once/if this is established. If Florida State cannot reschedule its matchup vs. Florida, the FSU Athletics Ticket Office will notify fans and offer alternative options regarding their ticket purchase.

The Seminoles’ next scheduled contest is against Austin Peay on Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. at the Tucker Center.
