It’s no secret that FSU’s defense has shown significant improvement since it started ACC play against Virginia three weeks ago.
For the most part the defensive unit has been solid in a loss to UVA and in back-to-back wins over Louisville and NC State. While there is no fear that this group will draw comparisons to the Steelers’ Steel Curtain defenses or the Bears’ famous 46-defenses, the Seminoles have improved - especially against the run.
FSU gave up 621 yards of total offense to Boise State and were gashed . . .
