Heading into early National Signing Day in December 2018, FSU
was looking to sign 4-5 offensive lineman and only had 1-2 committed. Early on
they could have offensive tackle Kaleb Boateng (Ft Lauderdale), Hunter Rayburn
(Pensacola) and Adrian Medley (Pensacola). Medley and Rayburn would have given
FSU two quality depth players along the offensive line that could have
developed into eventual starters. Instead they waited on some bigger names and
when those players went elsewhere the staff ended up scrambling in the end.
