FSU baseball opens ACC Tournament against Virginia on Wednesday

Florida State opens the ACC Tournament against Virginia on Wednesday at 3 p.m. The Seminoles will then face Notre Dame on Thursday at 3 p.m.

FSU is the No. 9 seed in the tournament and is in a pool with the No. 4 seed Fighting Irish, who swept the Seminoles in the regular season, as well as the fifth-seeded Cavaliers. As the No. 9 seed, the Seminoles will need to win both games to advance to a semifinal on Saturday.

Bally Sports’ regional networks will televise all of the pool play games.

Virginia Tech (40-11 overall, 19-9 ACC) earned the No. 1 overall seed. The four teams with the best records within their respective pools will advance to Saturday’s semifinals, with the winners playing on Sunday in the ACC Championship Game. If the teams are tied at the completion of pool play, the team with the highest seed in the respective pool will advance. Ticket information is here.
