FSU’s defense, which was inconsistent this season utilizing a base 3-4 defense, will undergo a transformation under new head coach Mike Norvell and defensive coordinator Adam Fuller. The Seminoles will go back to a four-man front under Fuller after spending one season in an odd front under former defensive coordinator Harlon Barnett. Barnett had a long history running an even-front defense but with direction from former head coach Willie Taggart decided to install an odd-front defense this past offseason.
