Mike Norvell now has his first commitment for the 2021 class.
Gadsden County defensive end Joshua Farmer has committed to Florida State, he announced after a junior day visit on Saturday. The 6-foot-3, 250-pound prospect has not been ranked by 247Sports.
Norvell quickly jumped on Twitter and celebrated the commitment, posting: “Great day to be a Florida State Seminole!! #NoleFamily just got BIGGER and #Tribe21 got STRONGER #KeepCLIMBing“
FSU will lose defensive ends like Janarius Robinson and Joshua Kaindoh after the 2020 season, so there has been an emphasis on rebuilding the group as part of the signing class in ’20 and ’21. The Seminoles signed Josh Griffis and also landed Louisville transfer Jarrett Jackson in December, both of which are on campus.
