Florida State is looking at a variety of plans for hosting fans at Doak Campbell Stadium this fall.
This in itself is good news: Administrators and health experts are weighing what’s best to keep fans safe as they evaluate what crowd size is appropriate to watch college football in 2020.
It’s tough right now to picture either extreme – no fans or 100 percent capacity. On one hand, no students, no parents, no season-ticket holders, no band. On the other hand, a stadium close to 80,000 capacity.
