Florida State landed a go-to receiver on Wednesday when New Orleans (La.) Edna Karr’s Destyn Hill signed.
The 6-foot, 200-pound Hill caught 54 passes for 1,047 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2019 as a junior.
“For the next three to four years I will be attending Florida State University,” Hill said.
He is the Seminoles’ top signee in the class of 2021, which was 30th in the nation in 247Sports’ rankings going into Wednesday.
“Hill is probably the top receiver FSU would have signed since Rashad Greene and Kelvin Benjamin a decade ago,” Osceola recruiting analyst Charles Fishbein said.
Hill joins two other prep receivers who signed early and have already enrolled — Joshua Burrell and Malik McClain. The Seminoles also landed transfer receiver Andrew Parchment, who will arrive in the summer.
