One of the nation’s top basketball recruits will graduate early and make the jump to college basketball this fall.
Moussa Cisse told ESPN.com on Wednesday that he will earn his high school diploma next week. The 6-foot-11 Cisse is considered one of the top prospects in the nation and will decide between Florida State, Kentucky, LSU, Georgia, Memphis and Georgetown – announcing his school after he earns his degree.
Cisse visited FSU in late January, taking in FSU’s weekend victory over Notre Dame.
FSU has already singed five-star Scottie Barnes, three-star guard Sardaar Calhoun and three-star center Quincy Ballard. The Seminoles saw two seniors graduate (Trent Forrest and Dominik Olejniczak) and two players enter the NBA draft a year early (Devin Vassell and Patrick Williams), which leaves a scholarship open for Cisse.
The Osceola previously talked with FSU assistant coach Charlton Young on Barnes, Calhoun and Ballard in a podcast in late April. If you missed it, listen here.
