Seminole Boosters released information detailing new plans for the year-round use of the Dunlap Champions Club and for the club formerly known as the University Center Club.
The first change is Legends will take over operations from Club Corporation, who celebrated their 25th Anniversary in Doak Campbell Stadium. The second change is the name University Center Club will be discontinued. The club will now be known simply as the Dunlap Champions Club (DCC).
The DCC will operate year-round for lunch, special events, civic events, banquets and weddings as well as numerous special dinners. Membership details will be released in January but a source with knowledge said a monthly membership will still be available for purchase.
The DCC will be open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning on Jan. 18. The club will open for special dinners, which include wine-pairings, cooking classes, guest-speaker dinners and more. The first two dinners are a “South Beach to Tally Dinner” on Friday, Jan. 21 and a “Leon Made Dinner” on Saturday, Jan. 29.
Legends will also run the game day operations of the Dunlap Champions Club premier seating sections on the fourth and sixth floor. A variety of enhancements are being planned and will be released later. Year-round membership to the Dunlap Champions Club will become a complementary benefit to Dunlap Champions Club seat holders. Additional details about the complementary membership will be provided in January.
The third floor banquet room and outdoor patio — now billed as “The all-new Renegade Room and Corral” will feature inclusive game-day cuisine and beverage starting two hours before kickoff and running through the third quarter. Full bar service will be available for purchase.
Tickets will be $50 each and include unlimited food and soft drinks. Club membership and your priority within Seminole Boosters will determine access to purchase tickets, which will go on sale in June with a limit of four tickets per member.
