Sardaar Calhoun announced he will test the NBA draft waters “while maintaining my eligibility, allowing me the option to continue my Seminole journey.”
Calhoun averaged 5.3 points and shot 23 of 58 (39.7 percent) from 3-point range in 2020-21 after transferring from junior college. He scored a season-high 16 points in a road win over Miami in February but had a relatively quiet NCAA Tournament with seven combined points in games against UNC Greensboro, Colorado and Michigan.
He joins redshirt junior forward RaiQuan Gray in opting to turn pro, although it is not yet clear if Gray has hired an agent. FSU is still awaiting decisions from Scottie Barnes, M.J. Walker and Balsa Koprivica.
