FSU offensive coordinator Kendal Briles met with the media before the Seminoles practiced Tuesday morning. Briles spoke about a variety of topics, including the performance of Cam Akers, an improving offensive line, quarterback Alex Hornibrook and the Miami defense.
The Seminoles have found some success in the running game the last two weeks. FSU has gained 410 yards on ground in its last two weeks, including a 241-yard performance against Syracuse in which the Seminoles ran the ball on 47 of their 79 offensive snaps. Briles said there is no secret to the team’s success . . .
