Florida State defensive coordinator Harlon Barnett spoke with the media prior to the Seminoles’ practice on Wednesday morning. Barnett addressed a variety of topics including his defense’s improvement against the run and the play of defensive tackles Marvin Wilson, Cory Durden, Robert Cooper and how the defensive side of the ball has grown in the face of adversity.
Barnett said the key to his defense’s improvement has been simplifying things for his players against Virginia and Louisville.
