Barnett happy with red-zone defense, seeking pressure on QBs

Florida State's defense has seen its ups and downs this season.

One of the positives has been red-zone defense, where the Seminoles held Wake Forest to five field-goal attempts and a touchdown in the 22-20 loss on Saturday.

“We’re extremely proud of those guys stepping up and forcing them to kick field goals down there," FSU defensive coordinator Harlon Barnett said. "Guys played hard, got down there, bowed up. And that’s what we expect our guys to do.”

The Seminoles have certainly bent on defense this year . . .
