Florida State received its first commitment for the 2024 recruiting class on Thursday when running back prospect Kam Davis (5-foot-10, 190) from Dougherty High School in Albany, Ga., gave his pledge to head coach Mike Norvell.
Davis was offered by FSU during the first week of February. He is also a baseball prospect and has reportedly been offered a chance to play both sports at Florida State.
As a freshman Davis threw for 649 yards while completing 54 percent of his passes in five games. He also ran for 554 yards on 55 carries, including five touchdowns. According to 247Sports the only other offer Davis has at this very early stage in his recruitment is from Miami (Ohio).
