A win like this has been a long time coming for Florida State.
The last time the Seminoles had defeated a top-10 opponent was in 2016 when they knocked off No. 6 Michigan in the Orange Bowl. It’s also the first time since 2007 that an unranked Florida State team had defeated an AP top-5 team.
They almost let it slip through their fingers, but the Seminoles were able to hold on in the final minute to upset No. 5 North Carolina and secure a signature win for first-year . . .
