Class of 2022 running back prospect Rodney Hill from Bulloch Academy in Statesboro, Ga., became the eighth player to commit to Florida State coach Mike Norvell for this recruiting cycle. Hill committed while on campus in Tallahassee on Saturday where he is attending the Seminoles’ Garnet and Gold game.
The rising senior, who is 6-foot and 186 pounds, is reported to also have offers from a list of schools that includes Minnesota, Ole Miss, UCF, Pitt, Tennessee and Virginia. In five games this past season Hill ran for 257 yards and caught 13 passes for 312 yards.

Hill is considered a three-star prospect and ranked as the 45th-best ATH in the class of 2022 and the 46th-best overall prospect in Georgia. He joins Sam McCall, Quincey McAdoo and Devaughn Mortimer as offensive skill players (wide receiver or running back) who have committed to FSU for this year’s recruiting class.
